Temple service provides a space for friends and members of Ile Orunmila Oshun and our wider community to learn about orisha and worship together. Each month has teaching on a different topic. In this session, we will discuss the practices of meditation/contemplation as means of attaining inner peace. Once inner peace is established, we can extend beyond ourselves to embrace others. This is the basis of living in harmony with the environment, the human community and the world of spirit. Teish will share her experiences and simple practices for achieving peace in a world of indifference and conflict. This is one of three sessions offered by Luisah Teish this winter. At this time, we turn inward for guidance and inspiration. We are pregnant with ideas and visions of what is to come. This gathering will provide information, exercises and rituals to stimulate the imagination, nurture visions and bring dreams into manifestation. Each session will begin with a cup of healthful tea, a grounding visualization, altar-building and song.

The class is limited to 13 women. Preference will be given to those committed to Spiritual Activism. Sessions include Money Pouring on the New Moon to attract wealth, Full Moon rituals of Release, guidelines for rituals you can perform with family and friends and recommended community events.
This class is affordable: $200.00 for the seasonal package ($50.00 discount) If you sign up for the entire season the fee can be made in two payments (Jan 11 and Feb 1). Or you may take individual sessions at $25.00 each. Those who wish to deepen their study are invited to participate in temple services, teleseminars and other educational events.
